YM – Mini Golf

We will be kicking off fall events with Mini Golf. Meet at GolfLand in Sunnyvale (Wolfe & El Camino) at 6:30pm.  We’ll hang out and golf together! Cost is $10 per kid (for a round of golf) but friends are free. The arcade is available so BYO (bring your own) $$. There might even be a treat for you as you leave.

Kids & Anxiety Forum

This is a forum series designed to support those who live and work with kids, and is based on what we’ve heard from parents about their kids’ anxiety/stress during the pandemic. It will be a space for learning, sharing and connecting. Parents, grandparents, teachers, and any others who work with kids are welcome to join us! All Church Family Food Truck & Movie Night

What: We’ll set up our lawn chairs in the parking lot, get some Mexican/Korean/Indian food from a food truck, and share a meal together. Around 7:45pm, we’ll watch a movie (drive-in style). Rather than sit in our cars, we’ll sit in our lawn chairs! (The food truck menu includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.)  Bring: Lawn chairs and maybe a blanket! Family Beach Day

Join us at Twin Lakes State Beach on Saturday Aug. 7th as we close out the summer together!  We’ll be at the beach from 12-5 PM and we’ll have snacks, drinks, and all sorts of fun! Come with your family or friends and enjoy the beach before school starts! PBCC Summer Camp 2021

It’s time for PBCC Summer Camp This summer, we will spend 4 camp mornings together, learning what God says about our emotions. We’ll learn to understand ourselves and God better! Bring your Hawaiian shirt and come soak up the sun with us – but watch out for that volcano! GriefShare: Loss during Covid-19 will be offered Sunday May 16th and June 6th from 3:00 – 4:30PM. How do we talk to our kids about God’s design for sex and our bodies?

When are they ready to learn what? What do we say when kids ask “where do babies come from?” We have two sessions coming up, where you’ll get to hear Denise Salin (high school counselor and child development expert) and Allie Hale (RN) speak on this topic, as well as talk with other parents about how they’ve approached these topics. The next episode of our Conversation will be about the Asian community, sadly against the backdrop of recent violent attacks.
