Body Life in Mandarin

You are welcome to join a Mandarin-speaking class (as long as you can somewhat understand Mandarin). We have the opportunity to develop our Mandarin “voice” as we share our stories with one another in Mandarin. The class will continue to practice deep koinonia-fellowship with God and with one another, such as sharing one another’s needs and struggles, as well as supporting and praying for each other. Psalms: Songs for the Ascent

Psalms 120-134 form a collection of psalms that were gathered together to be sung by pilgrims as they went up to Jerusalem three times a year for the great worship festivals of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. These yearly pilgrimages shaped Israel’s identity in the saving acts of God’s grace. “Pilgrim” is an essential aspect of our identity as followers of Jesus.  Psalm 120 gives voice to the pain and alienation we experience as foreigners and exiles in a strange land, juxtaposed with deep longings for…
