ABOUT US:
We work with Athletes in Action. AIA is a division of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). Our primary ministry responsibility is to serve, resource and train AIA staff in 10 countries in East Asia. Our personal ministry in the Phoenix area is evangelism and discipleship of college and professional athletes. Some of the teams we minister to are the Arizona State University Women’s Basketball team, the Seattle Mariners baseball organization, and the Arizona Rattlers (Indoor Football League).
HOW TO PRAY:
- ASU Women’s Basketball- Pray for deepening relationships with the girls on the team, as each season brings change and new opportunities for spiritual growth.
- Mongolia- The AIA Mongolia team is in the process of translating a one year sports devotional and Henry Cloud’s book “Changes that Heal”. Mongolia is still facing significant lockdown restrictions during the pandemic and quality reading material is at a premium.
- Pakistan- AIA Staff are preparing to host evangelistic tournaments using multiple sports. They face challenges including how to reach Muslims, reckless application of Muslim anti-blasphemy laws and development of resources (there is no tax-deductible giving in this country).

HOW YOUR DONATIONS ARE USED:
We raise 100% of our financial support. Funds given go to ministry expenses for evangelism & discipleship, leadership development, and national projects, as well as our paychecks, insurance, and benefits
Beyond our ongoing needs, we are also responsible to develop resources/funds for projects in East Asia such as scholarships for leadership development of nationals for which raising support is difficult and quality translation of sports ministry materials into the Mandarin, Korean and Mongolian languages.
