Fall Festival

It’s time again for the PBCC Fall Festival! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 30 from 4-6. Plan for a fun, free evening in the church parking lot with games, face painting, a climbing wall, and trunk-or-treating. We are in need of donations of candy, prizes, and volunteers! Theology of Technology

Paul Taylor, Pastor at PBC Palo Alto, has extensively studied what the Bible says about technology, and in this session he’s going to give us an initial framework to think about it. Youth Nerf Gun War

Bingo for Liberia Students

Come play Bingo with the Youth Group on Sunday, Oct. 16th at Noon in the Fellowship Hall!  We’re taking donations to raise money for students in Liberia. It is for exams like our SAT’s. We would love to have you join us! $20 per person donation suggested. Cash or check only. Pizza, popcorn, and other goodies provided.

Vaccination Clinic

It’s that time of year again!  PBCC will be hosting another pair of Sunday morning vaccination clinics on October 2 and 16, from 9:45am (the end of first service) and running through 2:00pm, in room 101.  The Omicron-specific booster shot is now available for those who qualify and received their 2nd shot at least 2 months ago as of October 2.  The vaccinations offered will be: Omicron COVID-19 booster shot, COVID-19, Influenza (age 5 and up), Pneumococcal (age 65 and up),…

VAM Art Reception: With New Eyes

Please come and join us as our Visual Arts Ministry hosts an artist’s reception for our latest exhibit, With New Eyes by Yeung Ha. Many of the prints in this exhibit were made using the monotype technique of printmaking. The imagery is inspired by the forms and beauty of nature. RSCP Volunteer Training

One of our PBCC family values is Participation in God’s Work. We have an opportunity to fulfill this value with the Rotating Safe Car Park (RSCP). This ministry allows “house-insecure” people who have working cars to safely park in our parking lot every night for the month of October. Women’s Crafting Fellowship

Come enjoy a time to gather together with other women for crafting and fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 11:30am – 1:30pm in room 103. Bring whatever craft you’re working on or are anxious to begin. We’ll meet for an hour and a half, but feel free to come and go as you please. Youth Ministry Mini Golf

We will be kicking off fall events with Mini Golf. Meet at GolfLand in Sunnyvale (Wolfe & El Camino) at 6:30pm.  We’ll hang out and golf together! Cost is $10 per kid (for a round of golf) but friends are free.  Register by clicking on the blue button.

VAM: Collage Workshop

The colors, patterns and textures of many kinds of paper will provide the inspiration for the collages created in this workshop. Marilyn de Kleer will demonstrate various ways of manipulating and arranging these papers to make original, interesting collages. Participants will be encouraged to choose papers that appeal to them and then trust their own color and design sense as they cut, tear and arrange the papers into a composition that pleases them.
