Comfort, O Comfort My People
After decades of heartrending and traumatic exile, the prophet cries out that Israel’s suffering is over and her King is coming in all his might to overthrow the enemy in a New Exodus. But to Israel, he will show himself tender like a shepherd, restoring her to her former glory, through a new Servant who “was pierced for our transgressions…[and] crushed for our iniquities…and by his wounds we are healed” (Isa 53:5). Join us as Brian leads us through Isaiah…
Sunday AM Prayer
The Sunday AM Prayer Team is an extremely important ministry and a wonderful opportunity to come alongside those that request prayer and need encouragement. No experience needed except the desire to love others. 8:30am (in-person room 104 and Zoom). Contact Kathy Young with any questions or for the zoom link.
Body Life in Mandarin
You are welcome to join a Mandarin-speaking class (as long as you can somewhat understand Mandarin). We have the opportunity to develop our Mandarin “voice” as we share our stories with one another in Mandarin. The class will continue to practice deep koinonia-fellowship with God and with one another, such as sharing one another’s needs and struggles, as well as supporting and praying for each other. Co-led by David Wang, Joseph Chou and Teng Moh. We are now both…
Life Together
Life Together is coming back on April 21st! The class is called, “Beyond Colorblind“, and it will give us a chance to explore what it means to be a truly multi-ethnic church family. We will learn what God might have to say to us about our ethnic identities, and yes, Whiteness is an ethnicity too! We hope to have meaningful conversations around the beauty, brokenness, redemption, and mission of our ethnic journeys. Join us if you can in the Fellowship…
R&R
Women of PBCC, it’s time for some R&R! Join us on Saturday, May 18th, 9:00am – 11:30am for a sweet time of fellowship. We will be meditating on the mothering love of God, as we mine what Scripture has to say about God’s nurturing, protective, and fierce love for us. There will be food, singing, sharing, and crafts, so come ready to relax and enjoy our time together! Online registration opens May 1st. In person registrations will take place after…
IJM: Race to Restore
On Saturday, May 18th at Memorial Park in Cupertino please join us for a 5k (3.1 mile) run, walk or stroll to raise money to help fund International Justice Mission’s Romania office which fights sex trafficking. It’ll be a great opportunity to get active and enjoy the warmer weather with your PBCC friends, kids and pets. Sign up for free and ask your friends and family to sponsor you. Create a donation page by 5/4 to get a free IJM…
