Main Mission
In the summer of 2024, PBCC will be sending out a Sports Ambassadors basketball team to Asia to use basketball for sharing the Good News of Jesus with as many people as possible.
Background
Sports Ambassadors is partnering with local churches to use sports ministry to plant and encourage churches. Part of the mission will also be to show the local churches how effective sports ministry can be. This trip will use basketball as the primary avenue to share the Gospel, and build up the local church plants.
Key Activities
The key activities for our trip will be clinics and games:
- Much of our time will be leading clinics, mostly at high schools. During the clinics, there will be “huddle times” where our players will be able to share their testimonies with a small group of students.
- Some of our time will be playing games at local high schools and/or exhibition games against local teams. We will probably play around 12 games.
