Young Adults

The Young Adults ministry at PBCC is a community of 18-29 year-old singles who love Jesus and desire to grow in our relationship with Him.  We also desire to walk alongside each other in authentic community, loving life together, having fun together, serving together and studying God’s word together. If you are a college student or  a young professional, come out and join us! All are welcome! You do not have to come to Sunday morning services at PBCC to hang out with us. Contact Shawn and look for us on Facebook. FB

Mission Statement

Our goal in the Young Adult ministry is the making of maturing disciples of Jesus, who in turn are making maturing disciples of Jesus.  (Matt 28:16-20; Eph 4:11-13; Matt 5:48)

  • What do we want people to be?
Character – to be like Christ, which requires a focus on Jesus, the Gospels and character texts (ie. fruits of the spirit, Beatitudes, etc)
  • What do we want people to know?
Convictions – serious study of the Bible which leads to transformation
  • What do we want people to do?
Connections and Competencies – authentic community, authentic relationships, authentic discipleship by ‘doing’ scripture
