Shape and Race is here! All PBCC and Kids Club 2nd-5th graders are invited to participate!
The kids will cut, shape and paint a race car starting from a basic block of wood. We’ll meet from 3:30-5:00pm on four consecutive Saturdays (Feb 28, March 7, 14, 21) to build and race our cars. We will use the creative build process to teach Biblical truths in short, weekly lessons. We hope that your kids can join the fun!
There will be a nominal $10 registration fee (scholarships also available!). Parents are invited to work with their children to create their car. Volunteers will be on hand to help each step of the way, so parent participation is not required, but this is a great opportunity for you to spend time with your child on a fun project. Families are encouraged to come on Race Day (March 21) to cheer on their racers. (The PBCC team will operate any power tools. Participants will use hand saws and sand paper with supervision and instruction.)
