New Class: How to Share Your Faith (Without it Being Weird)
Do you know that we’re commanded to go and make disciples, but feel nervous about it? Are you ever hesitant to bring up spiritual topics with your non-Christian friends? If so, come to this class where you’ll get to practice getting into faith-related conversations and sharing the gospel in a safe space. We’ll focus less on theory and more on application in the form of role play and practice. The goal is for you to feel more comfortable talking about spiritual things and inspired to try.
Here are the topics we’ll cover by week:
Oct 11: Why don’t we share our faith, and how can we start?
Oct 18: Building relationships – discovering who others are; sharing all of who you are
Oct 25: Getting into spiritual discussions
Nov 1: Sharing the gospel and your testimony
Nov 8: Handling common questions non-Christians ask
There is no cost to attend. Attendance at all five sessions is encouraged for maximum value, but is not essential. Feel free to invite friends, family and even folks who do not attend PBCC. Designed for adults; childcare is available. Questions? Ask Grace Kvamme or Larry Brown.
