It takes many hands to get everything done on a Sunday morning!
Following is a list of opportunities to serve:
PBCC Community Café: It is our desire to nurture a greater sense of community and connectedness that expresses the love of God inside our church. An integral part of this ministry is nurturing a hospitable environment at PBCC where folks are welcomed and given the opportunity to fellowship with one another. Some of the elements of our Sunday Morning Hospitality ministry include providing food and refreshments, and personally welcoming guests into our church community. Contact Carlin Tu if you would like to be a member of our team.
Volunteers who serve at the welcome table provide a warm welcome with helpful information to visitors and PBCCers alike. You can find us Sunday mornings in the church foyer. If you are interested in serving or being an opportunity to be an on-call substitute, contact Sharon Coleman.
Is God calling you to pray for our church, our leaders, and members? If so, join us in prayer each Sunday, 8:30-9:30am, in room 109. The prayer group is open to all and separate from the prayer team that prays with people after each service. Contact Shawn Reese for more information.
Serving in Children’s Ministry
We believe relationships are the key to ministry and so we put a premium on having many, loving adults interacting with the children. Our desire is to create a community for children – a comfortable environment where friendships are encouraged, where God is seen in their everyday world, and where age-appropriate, interactive learning is used. Our aim is to provide a loving foundation that prepares them for a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Contact Christine Koehn for details and to volunteer.
Sunday AM Prayer Team
The Sunday AM Prayer Team is an extremely important ministry and a wonderful opportunity to come alongside those that request prayer and need encouragement. No experience needed except the desire to love others. If you are interested being part of the team, please contact Shawn Reese
Sunday Morning Greeters and Ushers
First impressions are important! PBCC ushers carry this responsibility as they greet, seat, provide information and receive the morning offering. This ministry is a opportunity to meet people by welcoming them, answering questions and offering direction. Nearness counts! If you enjoy this kind of public service and desire to serve the Lord this way, be an usher! Contact Rich Veit .
