ABOUT US:
Kevin (KP) and Courtney Patao are on staff with Cru City – Neighbors in San Jose. KP serves on the national leadership team, training and shepherding fellow missionary staff. Courtney works with internationals, immigrants, and refugees. She works with volunteers to help those who are new to the US with some of their basic needs, such as food and English help, but also strives to help meet their emotional, relational, and spiritual needs as well.
HOW TO PRAY:
- Wisdom and discernment on how to invest time with refugees open to hearing the Gospel.
- More volunteers with flexible schedules to join us in reaching the refugees.
HOW TO JOIN THE TEAM:
here’s many ways to get involved. We need volunteers to join us in distributing bread twice a week on Tuesday afternoons, help lead a conversational ESL class over Zoom, tutor children in English, find and deliver items to the hotel, and more. There are so many ways to serve, that we can find a place for you!
HOW TO DONATE:
Another way to be involved is through giving. You can give directly to our ministry, which helps fund the bread outreach as well as helps us purchase items for families. Currently we need to raise about $1000/month to fund our bread outreach. You can give online here: or contact us for other ways of giving.
You can also donate items to families. Right now some families have asked us for:
- Bikes for children and adults
- Collapsible wagons or carts
- Good quality kitchen appliances
- Foldable clothes drying rack
They are also in need of affordable housing and vehicles.
