What is the YHK Ministry?
In case you haven’t heard, Youth Helping Kids is a leadership program and ministry that places Middle School and High School students in Sunday School classes. It’s a great way to get introduced to serving and ministry and developing your God-given spiritual gifts! And it’s a lot of fun!
How does it work?
YHKs are scheduled monthly as part of a teaching team. Your job is to assist teachers in set-up, clean-up, playtime, storytime, snack set-up, etc.
Where do I sign up?
Complete the application on the other side of this page.
What do I need to know?
Students involved in the YHK program must commit to serving for at least one month. You will understand and abide by classroom rules and policies and help teachers ensure that children are safe at all times.
If you are contacted by a PBCC parent about babysitting their children outside of Sunday School, you must let the Children’s Pastor know ahead of time.
