Sunday Mornings in the Parking Lot will include all the safety precautions of social distancing, masks, and low volume singing. This will be a LIVE service, rather than streamed or recorded. Here is a fun video we shared on Sunday, November 8 to show you how it will look.
This will be a family-friendly service! We’ll have tables at the back for families with kids, and each table will have a tub filled with books and craft materials. Also, 1st-5th graders will be invited to Corridor Kids, our Parking Lot Service version of Sunday School! Corridor Kids will be during the adult sermon; we’ll play games, read bible stories and do crafts together (masked and distanced, of course!).
Start by registering you and your family. (You will need to re-register for each Sunday). There will be parking available in the parking lot. Bring blankets and coats if chilly, and hats and sun glasses if hot! (We will contact you if we need to cancel the service due to the weather). Our single-user bathrooms will be open. On Sunday after you arrive at church, you will go through these simple steps.
• 10:15 Check in – With your masks on, please proceed to the check-in area under the canopies near the back of the parking lot. Bring your phone to check in your family in one step!
• Seating – Once you and your family have checked in, an usher will help you find your seats, filling in from front to back. There will be tables with an activity bin for families with young children. Interested 1st-5th graders will go to Corridor Kids during the sermon.
• Offering – please either text to give or go online to the giving page. We won’t be passing a plate during the service.
• Once the service is over, please remember to remain socially distanced as you return to your cars.
