Build a Shoebox
NOW more than ever children need HOPE. And that HOPE is packed in Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. Shoeboxes will be collected this year and we pray you’ll join us and pack even more.
Our goal this year for PBCC is to pack 300 boxes. Because we will be a Central Drop-Off location, you will be able to bring your boxes to church the week of November 16-23. You can also click here for drop-off locations that might be closer to you. Click here to learn how to build a shoebox at home. During COVID, we have another option to build a shoebox online. Learn how here. Here is a personal testimony of how a shoebox can make a difference.
Volunteering for PBCC’s Central Drop Off Center
PBCC will serve as a Central Drop Off Center for the second year and we will need volunteers. Due to Covid19, we have taken precautions to protect volunteers, including conducting activities outside, sanitation stations, social distancing and limiting the number of volunteers. We are praying for excellent turnout of volunteers and shoeboxes.
We need volunteers to greet arrivals, put shoeboxes in cartons and load cartons into trucks. We are encouraged to know that our church will be the beginning of a long shoebox journey culminating in a child hearing and experiencing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
To volunteer click here. or text the word OCC to the PBCC text line 669-208-7111. Sign up for whatever days/times you are available as a Core Volunteer or to be On Call/Flexible.
