Sunday, July 14
• Services: our own Barbara Metzler, who has served in Thailand since 2001, will give the message, Does Missions Matter?
• Missions Fair: after each service, on the patio. An opportunity to learn about local and global outreach ministries in which PBCC participates. Browse the tables, talk with representatives, and learn how you too can participate.
• Lunch: 12:00 noon in Fellowship Hall with Barbara Metzler.
Movie Nights: In addition, there will be two missions-themed movie nights:
• Friday, July 12, 6:30pm. Family-friendly movie night in the Library.
Two short movies: Ee-Taow: The Mouk Story (26 min) and The Next Chapter (32 min).
The moving story of how the Mouk people of Papua New Guinea responded to the good news of Jesus Christ, and then took that same good news to the surrounding peoples.
• Friday, July 19, 6:30pm. Movie in Fellowship Hall. Appropriate for high school age and above.
The Insanity of God: a movie about the persecuted church, asking Is Jesus Worth It? How does faith survive, let alone flourish, in the places of the world that are overcome with the darkness of sin, despair and hopelessness?
